Please choose your products carefully as South Africa Health Codes prevents AbdobandSA from taking returns on undergarments with the exception of defective products. The AbdoMend™ Bikini Belt® and Hem It In Belt® are considered undergarments and may not be returned if worn. There is a 50% restocking fee on return items that are unused.

Try on the belt over clothing, and refold with it fastened and flat, in order to return. We scrutinize garments for compliance.

As you realize the product needs to be changed or returned please use our Existing Orders form, or contact our office: or 083 780 4709. We need to be notified of any issue.

If sizing is an issue, exchange shall be made in a timely manner. If you are unsure of your correct size use our sizing chart online or contact us with your:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Stage of pregnancy in weeks
  • Belly measurement from 5cm; below belly button & over top of hips

Please write your ORDER NUMBER & EXCHANGE or RETURN on the outside of package for easier exchange or return of unopened unused item to – AbdobandSA, PO Box 416, Umhlanga Rocks, 4320, KwaZulu-Natal.

Shipping is not refunded and customers must pay for shipping back to AbdobandSA. No exchanges or returns will be refunded 30 days after purchase of product.

NOTE: AbdobandSA recommends that you use Speed Services Couriers (South African Postal Services) for all returns as it offers shipment tracking through a 24 hours customer helpline. Should you choose to use a carrier that does not offer a tracking facility and the goods are lost, then no refund or return will be considered.

International customers should make use of a courier that offers:

  • Shipment tracking
  • Insure your package for safe return and declare the full value of the shipment failing which loss or damage will be for your account.

AbdoMend™ Exchange Policy:

To exchange any item purchased from please place a new order online and return your original purchase with your client ID number and EXCHANGE clearly labeled on the outside of the shipping box. Upon receiving your exchange, you will be charged shipping. Please be advised of the following information:

If the item is stretched, worn, washed or soiled the garment it will not pass our quality control testing and a refund will not be given.
If your item is tried on or worn for any length of time, it starts to form to the shape of your body and is not exchangeable. This will not pass our quality control testing and a refund will not be given.

Returns: To properly request any returns please complete the Return Authorization form below. Upon receiving your item back, you will be refunded the price you paid less shipping with a R250 restock fee.

Products that do qualify for a return must meet the following conditions:

  1. Returns must be made within 15 days of receiving goods in order to receive a refund.
  2. Merchandise must be returned in its original packaging with all tags still attached.
  3. Items must be unworn and in their original condition.
  4. Used merchandise will either be discarded or sent back to you at your expense.

You will be responsible for all shipping charges. Packages mailed back C.O.D. will not be accepted. It is strongly recommended that you use a traceable and insurable shipping method. Until our warehouse confirms receipt we are unable to issue a refund. We are not responsible for lost packages. Returns will be processed within 1-2 weeks of our warehouse receiving your item. All returns will be credited to the original credit card used. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit adjustment to appear on your credit card statement.

Manufacture Defect:

If you have received damaged goods, please contact us immediately after receiving the product via email or call us at 083 780 4709 CAT. Please inspect the belt and try it on before going to the Hospital. We sincerely want to meet your needs but sometimes there is an issue with about 1-2% of product concerning the attachment areas (Velcro R) or sewing.

Abdomend™ warrants our products against defects in materials and workmanship. We stand behind all of our products and will either repair or replace free of charge during the first 21 days after purchase any binder that does not meet our high standards. Proof of purchase is necessary. We require that the product be sent to us directly so we can confirm the defect and make a decision on whether to repair or replace the item.
